Hi, I’m Fiona and I am Winchester Newborn Photographer. I create beautiful timeless portraits of your baby in the first few weeks of their lives. From my home studio in central Winchester, I provide a relaxed and cosy space for you to enjoy your newborn session. I have a wide selection of backdrops, props and outfits for your baby to wear if you would like to include those, but my style is very relaxed. I don’t go too prop or outfit heavy as I strongly believe that you can’t improve of the simple perfection of your new baby.
It’s best to have your newborn photos in the first two weeks of baby’s life when they are still sleepy and happy to be posed, so I do recommend booking with me while you are still pregnant. But don’t worry if life gets in the way and your baby has arrived before you have had a chance to think about photos. I have often taken sleepy posed photos up to four weeks old, and I can create beautiful portraits of your baby at any age.
I always try to include family photos and sibling photos in all my newborn photo sessions to record those first precious moments of parenthood. There’s nothing you really need to bring to your session, however if you would like to include something personal within your session, such as a knitted blanket, a small cuddly toy or perhaps part of a parent’s uniform, then I will always work those into your session. Then you can just sit back and relax with a cuppa while I get to work
